Clint Eastwood used his outward crankiness to come across as tough and yet also heroic at the same time, well done i'd say
He really brought back memories of my Grandfather who was by no means a racist, but was not afraid to make the odd and inappropriate comment. Something i'm sure alot of people can relate to.
As well, this was a 'return to form' for Eastwood. Almost felt like we were watching a movie that focused on a retired Dirty Harry.
